ORDINANCE NO. 900792

 

Authorizing a contract with Burns & McDonnell for an underground storage tank study at KCI Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Acting Director of Aviation is

hereby authorized to execute a contract for Project No. 647 - Study/Design Underground Storage Tank needs at Kansas City International Airport with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby

authorized to expend the following amounts from funds heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airports Fund (819-90401-T) for work to be performed under the aforesaid contract:

 

$41,000.00 for design services

 

Section 3. That the terms, conditions, privileges and

obligations as set forth in said contract are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise

unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
