ORDINANCE NO. 001698

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0333, rezoning an area of approximately 17 acres generally bounded by N.E. Staley Road on the north and extending approximately 950 feet south and by N. Woodland Avenue on the west and extending approximately 650 feet east from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings). (11660-P-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0333, rezoning an area of approximately 17 acres generally bounded by N.E. Staley Road on the north and extending approximately 950 feet south and by N. Woodland Avenue on the west and extending approximately 650 feet east from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0333. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the Northeast and Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 52, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 0o4259 East, along the West line of said Northeast Quarter, 245.06 feet; thence South 89o5200 East, 80.25 feet; thence Easterly, along a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 2712.00 feet, an arc distance of 860.89 feet; thence South 0o0000 East, 80.96 feet; thence Southwesterly, along a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of South 51o5658 West, having a radius of 325.00 feet, an arc distance of 109.57 feet; thence South 32o3757 West, 608.38 feet; thence Southerly, along a curve to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 725.00 feet, an arc distance of 327.59 feet; thence North 89o1610 West, 429.71 feet to a point on the West line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 25; thence North 0o4350 East, along the West line of said Southeast Quarter, 866.99 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 16.87 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0333, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
