ORDINANCE NO. 001327

 

Accepting a Special Warranty Deed from Real Estate Dynamics, Inc., conveying to Kansas City property in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, for office space for public use and directing the City Clerk to file same.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the following listed deed conveying property to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, in fee simple for public purposes and recorded in the office of the Director of Records for Clay County, Missouri, at Kansas City, under the instrument number and in the book and page indicated is hereby accepted.

and said property is legally described as follows:

 

All that part of the North 1/2 of Section 2, Township 48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the northerly right of way line of 63rd Street Trafficway, 551.73 feet easterly of the east right of way line of Elmwood Avenue, as both streets are now established and as measured along said northerly right of way line; thence northeasterly along the northerly right of way line of said 63rd Street Trafficway, being a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of North 63E44'45" East and having a radius of 1597.28 feet, an arc distance of 90.37 feet; thence North 60E30'15" East along said northerly right of way line 621.97 feet; thence northeasterly along said northerly right of way line being a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course and having a radius of 1677.28 feet, an arc distance of 151.27 feet to the westerly right of way line of Manchester Trafficway, as now established; thence North 23E15'30" West along said westerly right of way line 13.22 feet; thence northwesterly, northerly and northeasterly along said westerly right of way line, being a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course and having a radius of 476.46 feet, an arc distance of 434.72 feet to the southwesterly line of the Reserved tract as shown on the plat of Byrams Ford Park Annex Amended, a subdivision; thence North 32E23'48" West along said southwesterly line 280.87 feet to a point on the centerline of Byrams Ford Road, as now established; thence North 67E40'00" West along said centerline 391.80 feet; thence South 80E49'00" West along said centerline and along the centerline of 60th Street Terrace, as now established, 444.51 feet, more or less, to a point in a line drawn 350 feet easterly of and parallel with the east right of way line of said Elmwood Avenue; thence due south along said parallel line 851.81 feet; thence South 29E31'00" East 358.66 feet to the point of beginning, except that part deeded to the City of Kansas City for street purposes, under instrument recorded as Document No. K-915946, in Book K-2001, page 1341, described as follows: All that part of a tract


of land lying in the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 2, Township 48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of 63rd Street Trafficway and Manchester Trafficway as said streets are now established; thence westerly along the north line of said 63rd Street Trafficway, a distance of 27 feet; thence northeasterly to a point on the west line of said Manchester Trafficway that is 27 feet north of the point of beginning as measured along said west line; thence southerly along said west street line to the point of beginning.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of this ordinance with the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the City for public use purposes.
