ORDINANCE NO. 931283
Authorizing a $222,683.00 utility agreement with the
Missouri Highway & Transportation Commission providing for adjustment of
water facilities in connection with the construction of Bruce Watkins Drive from
I-670 to 63rd Street; and appropriating $222,683.00 in funding therefore.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of Water and Pollution
Control is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a $222,683.00
Utility Agreement with the Missouri Highway & Transportation Commission
providing for adjustment of water facilities in connection with the
construction of Bruce Watkins Drive from I-670 to 63rd Street. The agreement
is on file in the office of the Director of Water and Pollution Control
Section 2. That the sum of $222,683.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Water Construction
Fund to the following account:
806-080-7553-T WMR: MSHD/Watkins Drive
$222,683.00 I-670 to 63rd
Section 3. That the Director is further authorized
to expend up to the sum of $222,683.00 appropriated above to satisfy the cost
of this agreement.
Section 4. That upon completion of the final costs
of this project the Director of Finance is hereby directed to return the
unexpended portion of this appropriation to the Unappropriated Fund Balance
from which it was derived.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise
unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
