RESOLUTION NO. 090876

 

Honoring Linda Kneib on her retirement after 15 years of dedicated service to the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

 

WHEREAS, Linda began her career with the City as an Information Processor III in the Water Services Department in 1994; and

 

WHEREAS, Linda was promoted to a Secretary in the City Development Department in 1996; and

 

WHEREAS, in 2001, Linda was again promoted to an Administrative Assistant I and made her final move with the City to the City Managers Office where she received another promotion in 2004 to an Administrative Assistant II; and

 

WHEREAS, Linda has spent her time in the Citys Managers Office as principal assistant to three Assistant City Managers and two Assistant to the City Managers, and doing multiple duties for the City Managers staff which includes inputting payroll into the PeopleSoft system, doing all paperwork for new and departing employees, inputting and updating Administrative Regulations, being Floor Captain and being the liaison for the annual charity campaign and Year-Round Charity Committee; and

 

WHEREAS, Linda has been a great asset to the City Managers Office and will be sorely missed; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

That the Mayor and Council hereby extend to Ms. Linda Kneib, on the occasion of her retirement from City service, the heartiest best wishes for her future, together with appreciation for her 15 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Kansas City; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Ms. Linda Kneib in token of the Mayor and Councils respect and high regard and their best wishes for the long and happy retirement which she so richly deserves.
