ORDINANCE NO. 020034

 

Authorizing a $986,668.41 First Amendment to Agreement No. 990049 with Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation for engineering services in connection with the North Brighton Road improvements.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a $986,668.41 First Amendment to Agreement No. 990049 with Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation, essentially in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, relating to engineering services in connection with the North Brighton Road improvements in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 1, Project No. 2675, to be completed in four phases:

 

Phase I: Engineering Study

Phase II: Engineering Design Services

Phase IIB: Optional Engineering Design Services

Phase III: Construction Observation Services

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $986,668.41 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 02-309-089-7189-T for the aforesaid amendment.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
