ORDINANCE NO. 960679

Authorizing agreements with the Country Club Pharmacy and Statscript Pharmacy, Inc., to provide up to $46,875.00 and $57,625.00, respectively, to provide medication services to persons living with HIV/AIDS, for a period of up to four months and authorizing the Director of Health to amend the agreements.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That agreements between Kansas City, Missouri Health Department, acting through its Director of Health, and the agencies listed below, to provide services to persons living with HIV/AIDS for up to amounts listed below from funds previously appropriated under Ordinance No. 960472 in the 97 Ryan White Title I Supplemental Grant in Account No. 97-273-050-2447-B, for a period from April 4, 1996 to July 31, 1996, is hereby approved and accepted. Copies of the agreements, in substantial form, are attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

Section 2. That the Director of Health has authority to execute amendments without Council approval if the dollar amount of the amendments do not exceed $20,000.00.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
