ORDINANCE NO. 040793

 

Rezoning an area of approximately 26.10 acres generally located approximately 1,000 feet north of N.E. Staley Road and on the east side of N. Woodland Avenue from District R-1b to District R-2b. (11659-P-6).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0570, rezoning an area of approximately 26.10 acres generally located approximately 1,000 feet north of N.E. Staley Road and on the east side of N. Woodland Avenue from District R-1b (One Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0570. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 52, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 0E3500 East, along the West line of said Northeast Quarter, 1347.82 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence continuing North 0E3500 East, along said West line, 876.45 feet; thence South 89E1403 East, 314.64 feet; thence South 64E4902 East, 721.61 feet; thence South 26E3625 East, 1070.84 feet; thence South 34E1225 West, 272.37 feet; thence North 26E3625 West, 30.61 feet; thence South 34E1419 West, 74.95 feet; thence Northwesterly, along a curve to the right, having an initial tangent bearing of North 55E4015 West, a radius of 300.00 feet, a central angle of 56E1453, an arc distance of 294.51 feet; thence North 0E3439 East, 172.21 feet; thence North 87E2521 West, 319.66 feet; thence Westerly, along a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 350.00 feet, a central angle of 34E2442, an arc distance of 210.21 feet; thence North 55E0039 West, 171.98 feet; thence Westerly, along a curve to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 340.00 feet, a central angle of 34E2421, an arc distance of 204.17 feet; thence North 89E2500 West, 298.86 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Containing 26.10 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-1b (One Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0570, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
