ORDINANCE NO. 051079

Authorizing an $8,000.00 First Amendment to Agreement No. 030160 with TapanAm Associates, Inc. for Phase IA Additional Engineering Design Services for Project No. 89005497 Frost Rd Bridge over Small Creek; Project No. 89005501 Ozark Rd Bridge over Small Creek; and Project No. 89005503 Raytown Rd Bridge over Small Creek, all in Jackson County, Missouri, Council District No. 5.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, an $8,000.00 First Amendment to Agreement No. 030160 with TapanAm Associates, Inc. for Phase IA Additional Engineering Design Services for Project No. 89005497 Frost Rd Bridge over Small Creek; Project No. 89005501 Ozark Rd Bridge over Small Creek; and Project No. 89005503 Raytown Rd Bridge over Small Creek, all in Jackson County, Missouri, Council District No. 5, essentially in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to be completed in two phases:

Phase I - Engineering Design Services

Phase IA Additional Engineering Design Services

Phase II Limited Construction Observation Services

Phase IA will be performed under this First Amendment.

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to expend previously appropriated funds up to the amount of $8,000.00, from Account No(s):

06-2100-897702-B Frost Road Bridge over Small Creek $6,000.00

06-2100-897702-B Ozark Road Bridge over Small Creek 2,000.00

TOTAL $8,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
