SECOND COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 090302

 

Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Management Agreement with the American Jazz Museum, in the amount of $550,000.00, from the American Jazz Museum account, for management and operations of the 18th and Vine Project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Management Agreement, on behalf of the City, with the American Jazz Museum, in the amount of $550,000.00, to provide funds for management of the 18th and Vine Project from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 10-1000-071716-B, American Jazz Museum, for the period from May 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010 and that the Director of General Services is designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 10-1000-071716-B. A copy of said Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
