ORDINANCE NO. 060681

 

Authorizing the Director of City Development to execute, on behalf of the City, an easement conveyance to Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L); and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance and attached easement.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the City grants and reserves unto KCP&L, an easement conveyance to locate, construct, operate and maintain facilities upon, over, under and along the strip of land outlined and designated by said easement conveyance herein.

 

Section 2. That the Director of City Development is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, and easement conveyance to KCP&L, for the maintenance and construction of appurtenances necessary to provide service to property located in the Westport Trails Addition located at 43rd and Bridger Road in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, to be in a form substantially as that attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file copies of this ordinance, together with the easement conveyance in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
