ORDINANCE NO. 931256

 

Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties and releasing one easement in Platte County.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various easements in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

 

1. Standard Sewer Easement from School District of Kansas City, Missouri Building Corporation, Instrument No.

K1056066, no book and page listed; and

 

2. Temporary Easement from Robert M. and Patricia Schaefer, Instrument No. K1089541, book K2416, page 1968; and

 

3. Storm Drainage Easement from Cinda Risavalto, Instrument No. K1089542, book K2416, page 1970; and

 

4. Temporary Easement from Loda Ledbetter and Terry Ledbetter, Instrument No. K1096574, book K2436, page

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1 through 4 are set forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 6. All that part of the standard sewer easement previously accepted by Kansas City Ordinance No. 31812 passed October 8, 1965, recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, as Document No. 9625 in book 282 at page 147, being more particularly described as follows: A ten foot wide permanent easement lying 5 feet on either side of the following described centerline: Beginning at a point on the west line of the northeast quarter of Section 12, Township 51, Range 34, that is 490.00 feet south of the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of Section 12, Township 51, Range 34; thence 90 east 155.00 feet on a bearing of south 89 59' east; thence south 0 01' west 247.00 feet; thence south 89 39' east 320.00 feet; thence south 0 01' west, 170.00 feet; thence south 4 16' west 277.00 feet; thence 21 44' east 150.00 feet; thence south 46 44' east 308.00 feet; thence south 46 29' east 548.00 feet; thence south 23 31' west 250 feet, to a point on the north line of Lot 19, Bel Manor Subdivision (Lots 1 to 29, inclusive), a subdivision of land in Platte County, Missouri, that is 11.08 feet east of the northwest corner of said Lot 19, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 7. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City and Independence, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County at Platte City, respectively.
