Authorizing the Director of Finance to accept the proposal of Koch Financial Corporation for the acquisition of golf course maintenance equipment in an approximate principal amount not to exceed $140,000.00; estimating and appropriating $140,000.00 in lease proceeds; authorizing the execution of any and all documents and agreements necessary for the financing; declaring the intent of the City to reimburse itself from the lease purchase proceeds for certain expenditures; authorizing the Director of Finance to close project accounts upon project completion; and designating requisitioning authorities.

Randy Landis, Finance Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. The ordinance will appropriate funds in order for the Parks and Recreation Department to order the golf course equipment.

RESOLUTION - Authorizing the Mayor to request the Municipal Judicial Nominating Commission to submit a panel of nominees for appointment as judges of Divisions 207 and 206 of the Kansas City Municipal Court; and declaring the City Councils decision to fill the current vacancy in Division 205 of the Kansas City Municipal Court.

Approving a plan for industrial development for the purpose of construction, acquisition and equipping and furnishing a data center for Cerner Corporation located on the west side of Chouteau Trafficway, north of Missouri Highway 210, Kansas City, Missouri; and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

 Staff from the Finance Department will give a presentation titled Framework for Sustaining Economic Development. Dan Bagunu, Finance Department, introduced Bob Cornwell, CSG Advisors, and Jeff White, Columbia Capital; who presented the report to the committee. Wayne Cauthen, City Manager, answered questions from the committee. The handout is on file in the City Clerk's Office. The Finance and Audit Committee may hold Closed Sessions pursuant to Sections RSMo 610.021 (1), (2), and/or (3) respectively to discuss legal, real estate or personnel matters. There was no closed session.
