Larry Stice, City Development, testified regarding the 135th/150 HWY vacation. The vacation will allow address marking spaces for an existing retail store. Patricia Jensen, White Goss, is representative of the Stateline Station Developer. She requested advancement.

Larry Stice,City Development, stated that this ordinance was for the Bell St./27th St border of KCK/KCMO it would allow construction of a office building. There was some discussion from the committee questioning wether to hold the ordinance. The Committee decided to hold.

Virginia Walsh, City Planning, stated that the ordinance would amend a preliminary plan for a module home development, including a club house for residents. There are currently 15 units and the change would allow the construction of 25 more units. 30 of the 40 units have been sold.

Approving the assignment of certain development rights with respect to Phase 2B of the Beacon Hill Project by Beacon Hill Redevelopment Corporation to Residences at West Paseo, L.P.; releasing Beacon Hill Redevelopment Corporation as it relates to those certain development rights and authorizing execution of an Assignment and Assumption Agreement with Beacon Hill Redevelopment Corporation, Residences at West Paseo, L.P., and the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

John Eckhardt, City Planning, explained that the ordinance was a 353 for Beacon Hill REdevelopment it has 30 units for senior living. Beacon Hill Redevelopment is transferring rights to West Paseo. Patricia Jensen, White Goss and Brian Colins,West Paseo were both present. Mr. Colins stated that there was and request by residents to honor a long time resident Herman Johnson and he indicated that perhaps a reading room at the facility would be named after him. Patricia Jensen clarified the tax abatement period for the committee. It would be 25 years.

Travis Kiefer, Public Works, explained that the ordinance was for the plat of Hampton Meadow 3rd. It is a standard plat and the easements, grades and public ways have been checked and accepted.

The 1st consist of single family homes, the 2nd consist of multi family units and the patio has ground level units that have attached patio's. There are no known opponents to the projects. All the easements,grades and public ways have been checked and accepted.
