 Sean Demory, City Manager's Office, will give a presentation regarding the "Kansas City Plan Room". Tony Felitsky, Builders Association, testified regarding the presentation. A copy of the presentation is on file in the City Clerk's Office. Nace-What was the prior process? Franklin-Three years ago you had to come to city hall to receive the contracts. After the contractor could go to the firm the city hired to housed the plans and for a fee purchase the plans. Now the plans are on the web, at no cost to the public. John Franklin, City Manager's Office gave security rites to those who use the web. the departments that work with the security would be able to give the rites to those that would need it. and to monitor. The city has received approval from smaller firms because of increased access. They can save documents to CD. The system is user friendly. Offered training throughout the city for this website. Go live date is October 1 this year. Hermann would like a report of what takes place after the first sixty or ninety days.
