Travis Kiefer, Public Works Deparatment gave an overview of the ordinance. All of the grades and closures have been checked. Patricia Jensen, White, Goss spoke in support of the project.

Travis Kiefer, Public Works, explained that this ordinance was the routine acceptance of a plat to be know as Staley Farms Townhomes. There have been several plats in the Staley Farms project they have all been well received by the residents and school district of the area.

Andy Bracker, City Development, stated that the resolution would allow the preparation and submission of a application to the United Stated Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA). In would require a grant in the amount of $200,000.00 Brownfield Cleanup funds.

RESOLUTION - Determining that the Jazz District Tax Increment Financing Plan is making satisfactory progress under the time schedule proposed within the plan for completion.


PLANNING, ZONING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE recommends "BE ADOPTED AS A COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE"
City Planning staff explained that this resolution would determine that the Jazz District TIF Plan is making satisfactory progress under the time schedule proposed within the plan for completion. The committee members questioned the satisfactory rating reported in the resolution because several projected complition were not done. Councilman Nash, abstained and the resolution was passed.
