170912 Authorizing the Director of Finance to accept a proposal of Banc of America Public Capital Corp (“BAPCC”) to finance the acquisition of Public Works and Neighborhood and Housing Services Vehicles (“Project”); authorizing the execution of any and all documents and agreements necessary for the financing; estimating revenue and appropriating $8,220,000.00 in the 3230 Fund; designating requisitioning authorities; authorizing the Director of Finance to close project accounts; approving Lease Counsel in connection with the transaction; declaring the intent of the City to reimburse itself from the lease purchase proceeds for certain expenditures; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
170915 Authorizing the City of Kansas City to participate in forming the Greater Kansas City Clean Energy Development Board; and authorizing further actions as may be necessary or desirable to carry out and comply with the intent hereof.
170919 Amending Chapter 68, Code of Ordinances, entitled “Taxation”, by enacting a new Section 68-450, to extend for 20 years the City’s current 1% sales tax used for capital improvements and to codify dedication of the available annual sales tax receipts with 35% for neighborhood conservation, maintenance and improvements divided equally among Council districts and 65% for capital improvements with at least 25% for street resurfacing, repair, and the construction of complete street facilities; reaffirming the role of the Public Improvements Advisory Committee; providing for submission of this ordinance to the qualified voters of the City for their approval at an election called for Tuesday, April 3, 2018; authorizing and directing the City Clerk to notify the responsible election authorities of this election; authorizing and directing the City Clerk to notify the Missouri Director of Revenue if the proposal is approved by the voters; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

170918 Amending Chapter 64, Streets, Sidewalks, and Public Places, by repealing Section 64-168 and enacting in lieu thereof a new section of like number and subject matter which will allow a retail sales-by-drink business that is not a restaurant to also have a sidewalk café permit, will provide for an annual license instead of a calendar year license, will clarify the fee is not for the inspection, and will add the sidewalk cafe must be enclosed with only one point of entry.
