Accepting and approving a one-year $51,400.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to provide funding for tuberculosis control activities.


PUBLIC SAFETY AND NEIGHBORHOODS COMMITTEE recommends "ADVANCE AND DO PASS, DEBATE"
Tiffany Wilkinson, Health Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance and answered questions from the committee. There was no public testimony. This ordinance will accept the annual contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to continue tuberculosis control activities in Kansas City.

Accepting and approving an $11,847.37 contract amendment with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to provide additional funds to conduct preventive health screening of all newly arriving refugees in Kansas City; and increasing revenue and appropriations in the amount of $4,000.00 in the Governmental Grants Fund.
