RESOLUTION - Approving an amendment to the Little Blue Valley Area Plan by modifying the Land Use Plan and Map for an area of approximately 59.1 acres generally located on the south side of E. 51st Street, approximately 1,200 feet west of Phelps Road and extending south approximately 2,800 feet to recommend low density residential uses instead of agricultural and open space. Larry Stice, City Planning, testified on behalf of this resolution. Ron Kincaide, Kincaide Engineering, is in agreement with the conditions within the ordinance. Councilman Riley is in favor of this project. This resolution will allow for development of 95 single-family lots, private open space and a detention tract to be generally located at E. 51st St. and Phelps Rd.

This ordinance will allow for the demolition of the improvements on the block bounded by 18th St., Central St., 19th St. and Broadway Blvd, and the construction of a 17 story building for commercial, residential and parking uses.
