PLANNING, ZONING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE recommends "ADVANCE AND DO PASS AS A COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE, DEBATE"
Andrew Bracker, City Planning and Development, provided the staff report for this ordinance. This ordinance estimates revenue in the amount of $386,245.62 and appropriates $474,162.62 in the Kansas City Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund. This program income was generated by the activities of various brownfield grants awarded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Most of the program income was generated by the EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund grant and supplemental awards. The program income is governed by the terms and conditions of the EPA Federal Cooperative Agreement, as amended and is generally restricted to the same purposes and requirements as the original grant funds. Upon termination of the grant, program income may continue to be governed by an EPA grant close-out agreement.
