Virginia Walsh, City Planning, testified on behalf of this ordinance. Richard Briley, Attorney for the applicant, explained the reason they are asking for the change to the zoning ordinance. Dan Kaufer, Spencer Law Firm, was present to answer questions from the committee. This ordinance will allow for expansion of certain adult cabarets within the City. Lee Lambert, 1226 Benton Blvd., was initially against the ordinance, but after the testimony, is in support of it. Tom Leavitt, 2500 Broadway, is in support of this ordinance.
