Approving the Hillside Redevelopment Corporation “353” Development Plan for the redevelopment and rehabilitation of the neighborhood as provided in the Urban Redevelopment Corporation Law of the State of Missouri (Chapter 353, RSMo) for an area of approximately 138.32 acres generally located at the northwest quadrant of Hwy 350/Blue Parkway and the area between the eastbound and westbound lanes of Hwy 350/Blue Parkway, just east of Raytown, (the “Redevelopment Area”), declaring such redevelopment necessary for the preservation of the public peace, prosperity, health, safety, morals and welfare; authorizing the City to enter into a contract with the Hillside Redevelopment Corporation for implementation of the Development Plan, and authorizing certain tax abatement within the Redevelopment Area.
