Amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Section 10-292, Temporary employee liquor permit for special event, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section of like number and subject matter which will allow a liquor licensee to issue temporary employee liquor permits for special events.

Gary Majors, Regulated Industries, explained the purpose of changes to code regarding issuing temporary liquor licenses. Mr. Majors answered questions from the committee regarding limiting the number of events for each licensee and tracking usage by licensees. There was no public testimony.

Councilman John Sharp spoke briefly about the storm damage in the Ruskin Heights area and announced that the City will be picking up fallen tree limbs and brush from the curbside on Sunday in that area.
