John Echardt, City Planning and Development Department, testified in support of this ordinance and answered questions from the committee. There was discussion concerning whether not a section ofWyandotte which was vacated by the City should be remain private. Stan Harris testified in support of the street being made public. A letter from the Fire Department was read into the record supporting making the street public. Jerry Riffle representing the applicant was available to answer questions. The committee decided to hold this ordinance so that the City Departments and the applicant can come to an agreement regarding control of the street.
