Authorizing the Director of Finance to enter into Depository Trust Agreements with certain banks; approving the form and fixing the term of such agreements; and determining the amount of City funds as time deposits authorized to be deposited under these programs.


FINANCE COMMITTEE recommends "ADVANCE AND DO PASS, DEBATE"
Tammy Queen and Randy Landes both of the Finance Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. The purpose of the legislation is to approve the new form of the Depository Trust Agreement, select banks with Kansas City, Missouri locations as suitable for deposit of City funds and to reaffirm the limitations on the City's time deposit programs.

 There will be a Closed Session to discuss legal matters, pursuant to RSMo. 610.021(1). The committee voted to go into Closed Session at 10:35 am. Councilman Riley motioned for the Committee to go into Closed Session, Councilman Brooks seconded the motion. The votes were as follows: Riley- Aye Brooks-Aye Eddy- Aye Randall Landes, Finance Department, will give a report regarding the City's current Financial Advisor contracts. Randy Landes reviewed the process the City uses to choose and maintain it's Financial Advisors. Handout's are on file in the City Clerk's Office. There will be a presentation from Global Spectrum regarding progress reports on Kemper Arena. Larry Hovack, General Manager Global Spectrum, and Oscar McGasky, gave a presentation regarding the first annual report on Kemper Arena. A handout is on file in the City Clerk's Office.
