Jerry Tapscott, Public Works Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would approve traffic regulations that have been installed in the past ninety days and the Public Works Department asked that they be made permanent.

Condemning and taking permanent and temporary easements on private properties for the construction and maintenance of sanitary sewers in the area of NE 39th Street and N. Prather Road, in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations by the Director of City Development; consenting to the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney, on behalf of the City; and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds in Clay County, Missouri.

Garfield, in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations by the Director of City Development; consenting to the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney, on behalf of the City; and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds in Clay County, Missouri.

Authorizing a $919,945.00 contract Amendment No. 2 with Holzman Moss Architecture for Project No. 89A00281; authorizing the City Manager to expend $919,945.00 from previously appropriated funds; and declaring the City’s intent to reimburse itself from KCMAC 2006A-2 Music Hall Fund Bonds.

Eric Bosch, CIMO, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize a contract for design and reconstruction of the Music Hall. The work consist of moving the stage back and heightened. This would allow for move businesses to come to the Music hall.

Authorizing a $755,000.00 Amendment No. 5 with Shafer, Kline & Warren, Inc. for additional engineering services for the NW Barry Road Roadway Improvement Project Phase 2; estimating revenue in the Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $880,000.00; and appropriating that amount to the Barry Road over Rush Creek account; and authorizing the City Manager to expend $755,000.00 for the project.
