The State requires that the applicant receive City approval before accepting application. The applicant is seeking approximately $50,000 in state remediation tax credits and a approximately $500,00 in Brownfield tax benefits. The funds would go toward environmental cleanup of a three-story downtown office building. The applicant forecast an estimate 18 new jobs to be created by the project. The cleanup for the project will be extensive. It would remove lead-based paint and asbestos. As well as other irritants and hazards in an area that is rapidly revitalized. There were no opponents. |
