Al Figuly, PIEA, was present to answer questions from the committee. Tony Gardner, Garnder Associates, is in agreement with this plan. Tom Leavitt, Leavit Enterprise Inc., raised a few concerns with the plan, but overall is in agreement. Diane Wackopf, Main Corp., is in support of this plan. This ordinance will allow Chapter 100 tax abatement for qualifying projects associated with the 39th & Main PIEA area generally located on both sides of Main Street between 37th and 38th Streets, and the east side of Main Street between 38th and 39th Streets.
