Gerald Smith, General Services, testified on behalf of this ordinance. Oscar McGaskey, Convention Center, was present to answer questions from the committee. This ordinance provides for authorization of Amendment 1 to the Agreement with Crawford Architects for additional design services at the Bartle North Dock.

This ordinance will authorize amendment no.4 which provides for staff extension of Construction Management personnel for Phase II of the project.

The Metro Patrol Station is construction of a new station to be located at 77th and Prospect and consists of 2 primary phases of work: sanitary sewer relocation and construction complete of the station including site grading, site work and fueling facility.

Dedicating City owned property for public purposes in connection with the location of a street to be known as "Beacon Hill Lane" as part of Beacon Hill, Project No. 64007021, located in Council District 3, in the area surrounding 25th Street, between Troost and Forest Avenues, all in Jackson County, Missouri, and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance.

Authorizing reconstruction of sidewalks, curbs, driveway entrances, and appurtenances along various streets Citywide; reducing and appropriating $1,491,957.79 from the Revolving Public Improvement Fund; authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $1,491,957.79 for the projects; authorizing assessment of the costs against the properties benefited; and recognizing an emergency.

Stan Harris and Jeff Martin, Public Works, testified on behalf of this ordinance. John Franklin, City Managers Office, answered questions from the committee. This ordinance will set up special assessment accounts in the Public Improvement Revolving fund for the purpose of collecting the costs for petition sidewalk project part of the Public Improvement Projects in all council districts.

 Patty Hilderbrand of Public Works will provide an update on the status of bicycle and pedestrian accomodations on the Christopher "Kit" Bond Bridge.
 
 Patty Hilderbrand, Public Works, gave a presentation to the committee regarding the Bike/Ped accommodations on the new kcICON Bridge. The handout is on file in the City Clerk's Office.
