Jade Liska, City Planning and Development, gave the specifics of the contract and Gerald Williams, City Planning and Development, testified on behalf of this ordinance and both answered questions from the committee. Allen Johnson, Human Resources, testified regarding MBE/WBE information. This ordinance will authorize the Director of the City Planning and Development Department to enter into a $498,600.00 contract with BNIM Architects for Project No. 08037 Greater Downtown Area Plan, generally located in an area bounded by 31st Street on the south, North Kansas City on the north, Woodland Avenue on the east and the State Line on the west and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $498,600.00.
 
 Presentation by Al Figuly on an overview of the PIEA Process. Al Figuly, Planned Industrial Expansion Authority(PIEA), gave a Powerpoint presentation of the PIEA process and distributed a hard copy of the presentation to the committee. He also discussed policy changes in the process. Presentation by City Planning and Development Department Staff on the 353 Urban Redevelopment Program. Bruce Wiggins, City Planning and Development, explained the 353 Redevelopment Program and distributed a report to the committee. There may be Closed Sessions to discuss a Real Estate Transaction pursuant to RSMo. 610.021(2) and a Legal Matter pursuant to RSMo. 610.021(1).
