Vacating the north/south alley east of Holly Street from W. 47th Street north to its terminus, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; and directing the City Clerk to record certain documents. (1669-V)

PLANNING, ZONING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE recommends "ADVANCE AND DO PASS, DEBATE"
City Planning and Development addressed the Committee. The applicant has obtained the consent to the vacation from all abutting property owners – in this case, there is only one abutting property owner, which is the applicant. The utility comment sheets have all been obtained, and there were no objections to the alley vacation from any utility provider. The proposed vacation of the north/south alley east of Holly Street will not affect traffic circulation or create access issues for the block, or for the City as a whole. The alley is not accessible from either the north or the south, is blocked off by buildings on both the south and north sides of the block, and is mostly covered over by construction and other obstructions for the remainder of the block.
