Virginia Walsh,City Planning, explained that the ordinance would approve the community unit project for a 1 acre tract of land near northwest 48th Street and North Wheeling. She added that basically this ordinance allows improvement to a portion of a strip mall and there was no opposition to the project.

Authorizing the City Manager to execute a tax credit agreement with the Missouri Development Finance Board and the Metropolitan Kansas City Performing Arts Center for the issuance of tax credits and the acceptance of private contributions to support fund-raising efforts for capital improvements for its construction project located at approximately 1601 Broadway, Kansas City, Missouri.

Woodland Avenue, containing 46.83 acres. It would create 95 single family lots. This is a legislative procedure required by the City Charter after the plat has been approved by the City Plan Commission and the grades and closure have been checked and approved by the Engineering Division of Public Works Department.

This is a legislative procedure required by the City Charter after the plat has been approved by the City Plan Commission and the grades and closure have been checked and approved by the Engineering Division of Public Works Department.

There are no opponents to the sign and it is deemed necessary to maintain a safe and effective flow of traffic in the project area.

The proposed land use Plan and Map is for approximately 1.93 acre tract of land is generally bounded by E. 20th Street on the south, the Kansas City Terminal Railway on the north, Olive Street on the east, and Brooklyn Avenue on the west. By changing the proposed land use recommendations from open space uses to residential uses. There is a proposal for brownstone type housing at this location that would promote home ownership in the area.

Virginia Walsh, City Planning, explained that this ordinance was a companion to the previous resolution 041161. This ordinance dealt more directly with the proposed infill housing projects. They would consist of both single family homes (stand only units) and connective townhome development that would be for sale units with maintain agreements. This is an effort to promote ownership in the third district. Property maintaince has been a issue in the district.
