FINANCE AND GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Scott Wagner, Mayor Pro-Tem, testified that this ordinance is the yearly standing committee meeting schedule, canceling City Council business meetings for the listed weeks of the year 2017.

Approving and authorizing settlement of a claim asserted by Continental Steel, LLC, by and through the Michael Frost Living Trust through an exchange of City owned real property near Kessler Park for Trust property surrounded by park land.

 1. Staff from the City Auditor’s Office and the Finance Department will present an ARTS report for the audit of Enterprise Funds: Financial Condition Indicators.
 
 Doug Jones, City Auditor, gave an update of the Audit findings and the current progress of the Finance Department's response to the audit. A copy of the presentation is on file with the City Clerk's office.
 
 2. Staff the from City Auditor’s Office and the General Services Department will present an ARTS report for the audit of employees’ response to phishing email which put the City's information system at risk.
 
 Doug Jones, City Auditor, gave an update on the findings and progress of the General Services Department in response to the audit. A copy of the presentation is on file with the City Clerk's Office.
 
 3. Staff from the Finance Department will present information regarding the City’s banking and investment processes and the City’s socially responsible banking resolution.
 
 4. There may be a general discussion regarding current Finance and Governance Committee issues.
 
 5. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss: (1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to subsection 1; (2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2; (3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or (4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12. (5) confidential or privileged communications with auditors, pursuant to subsection 17. (6) preparation, including discussions, for negotiations with employee groups, pursuant to subsection 9.
 
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
