Naser Jouhari and Vickie Watson from the Environmental Health, gave the introduction of this ordinance. Councilwoman Canady recommended this ordinance be held for one week and will be heard October 3, 2018.

Amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 10-1, Definitions, 10-36, Denial, suspension or revocation of license or permit, 10-105, General requirements for temporary and annual catering permits, 10-133, Arts and cultural district zone, 10-136, Downtown economic entertainment district zone employee and volunteer permits, 10-138, Non-profit organization temporary permit, 10-335, Prohibited acts on sales-by drink premises, 10-339, Employment of and sales by minors, 10-342, Sales-by-drink premises; and 10-373, Employment of minors, and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like numbers and subject matter and repealing Sections 10-5, Employee liquor permit required, 10-291, Generally, 10-292, Temporary employee liquor permit, and 10-293, Violations; penalty.

Mayor Pro Tem Councilman Scott Wagner, gave the introduction of this ordinance. This ordinance has been held for one week and will be heard October 3, 2018.
 
 1. Staff from Kansas City Fire Department will give an update on Response Times and EMS Collections.
 
 Deputy Chief Tom Collins, Chief Chuck Zang from the Kansas City Fire Department gave a brief update of the following; emergency response times, summary map supplement of emergency response time city wide, and the medical bureau ambulance revenue payments received for the month of July 2018. An electronic copy of this presentation can be obtained in the City Clerk's Office.
 
 2. There may be a general discussion regarding current Neighborhoods and Public Safety issues.
 
 3. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss: (1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to subsection 1; (2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2; (3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or (4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
 
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
