170236 (Sub.)Amending Article VIII of the Administrative Code of Kansas City, Missouri, relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, by repealing Sections 2-1075, 2-1076, 2-1077, 2-1078, 2-1079, 2-1080, 2-1086 and 2-1088 which authorizes our job classification and pay system for the next fiscal year, by enacting pay scale changes in accordance with collective bargaining agreements with AFSCME Local 500, IAFF Local 42, IAFF Local 3808 and provides for professional maintenance of the plan, to assist in allowing the City to establish a competitive classification and pay system, and establishing an effective date.

170250 Declaring real property consisting of 1.871 acres generally located north of Missouri State Route 150 Highway and West of Colorado Avenue surplus to the City's needs; authorizing the Director of General Services to offer for sale the City’s interest in such real property to abutting and adjoining owners, and to execute all documents needed to complete the transfer of the real property; and directing the City Clerk to record this Ordinance with the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Jackson County, Missouri.

Barry Road, surplus to the City's needs effective upon the relocation of the North Patrol Division out of the building currently located thereon; authorizing the Director of General Services to offer the sale of the City’s interest in this real property in accordance with City regulations, in advance of the relocation, but to convey it after such relocation, and execute related documents to complete the transfer of the real property reserving easements as necessary to continue the City’s ownership in the communications tower on the property and to provide access and utilities to such tower; and directing the City Clerk to record this Ordinance with the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Clay County, Missouri.

 1. There may be a general discussion regarding current Finance and Governance Committee issues.
 2. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:
(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to
subsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
(5) confidential or privileged communications with auditors, pursuant to subsection 17.
(6) preparation, including discussions, for negotiations with employee groups, pursuant to subsection 9.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification
Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
