170389 Authorizing the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Terminal Developer, LLC and Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for a terminal modernization project at the Kansas City International Airport; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date pursuant to Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the Charter.

ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
 1. There may be a general discussion regarding current Airport Committee issues and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee issues.
 2. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss: (1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to subsection 1; (2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2; (3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; (4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12; (5) records which are protected from disclosure by law, pursuant to subsection 14; (6) operational guidelines, policies and specific response plans for use in responding to or preventing any critical incident which is or appears to be terrorist in nature and which has the potential to endanger individual or public safety or health, pursuant to subsection 18. Disclosure of this information would impair the public governmental body's ability to protect the security or safety of persons or real property so that the public interest in nondisclosure outweighs the public interest in disclosure of the records; and/or (7) existing or proposed security systems and structural plans of real property owned or leased by the City, pursuant to subsection 19. Disclosure of these information would impair the public governmental body's ability to protect the security or safety of persons or real property, and shall in the same writing state that the public interest in nondisclosure outweighs the public interest in disclosure of the records.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
