(254-S-316) ***Chairman Taylor is planning to have a committee work session on the short term rental ordinances.  There will not be public testimony at this work session.  Chairman Taylor does not plan to pass this out of committee until a future public hearing for public testimony is held to provide as much transparency as possible.***

171037 Repealing the Main Street Special Review District, and approving and replacing said district with a Special Character Overlay to be known as the Main Corridor Overlay District which includes design and use regulations for property generally located along Main Street from 27th Street on the north to Emanuel Cleaver II on the south, and more specifically described as follows: beginning at 27th Street on the east side of Main extending south to Warwick, between 29th Street to 31st Street from Walnut to the east to Wyandotte on the west, existing parcel depth along 31st Street from Main to DeGroff, thence south from McGee to the east to Main Street along 31st Terrace, south of 31st Street to Linwood from Main Street to the east to Wyandotte on the west and existing parcel depth along Linwood, existing parcel depth along Main from Linwood to 39th Street, existing parcel depth along 39th Street from Warwick on the east to one-half block west of Central on the west, and generally between Walnut on the east to Baltimore on the west from 39th Street to Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard on the south. ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
 1. Staff from the City Auditor's Office will present a Scope Statement: City Planning Land Development Division Plan Review Process.
 2. There may be general discussion regarding current Planning, Zoning and Economic Development issues.
 3. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes
(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:
, pursuant tosubsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
 The City Clerk's Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
