RESOLUTION NO. 050190

 

Declaring it necessary to establish the grades on NW 128th Street from the west line of Section 12, Township 52, Range 34 east to NW Interurban Road, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Council finds it to be necessary to establish the grades on N.W. 128th Street from the west line of Section 12, Township52, Range 34, west to NW Interurban Drive, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City, and as shown on the plans on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said streets, on the centerline of the roadways, which shall be connected by straight grades (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations of which are herein given below in feet above the NAVD 1988 datum as follows, to-wit:

N.W. 128th Street

All grade points are on the centerline of N.W. 128th Street as found on Plan File No. 2004-381 in the office of the Director of Public Works. All grade points are measured at a point east of the west line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 52, Range 34, said point located at Station 1+85.000 of the centerline of N.W. 128th Street, said station having a coordinate of North 1150405.9735, and East 2740374.0374, thence easterly along centerline approximately 865 feet to Station 10+50, which has a coordinate of North 1150402.6921, and East 2740374.0374 to wit: 

At Sta. 1+85.00 Elev. 933.51

At Sta. 2+70.00 Elev. 926.46, PVC

At Sta. 3+50.00 Elev. 920.19

At Sta. 4+50.00 Elev. 913.40

At Sta. 5+35.00 Elev. 904.46

 

Except that the grade planes meeting at Sta. 5+35.00 shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents of 265.00 feet in length.

 

At Sta. 6+50.00 Elev. 903.32

At Sta. 7+50.00 Elev. 900.02

At Sta. 8+90.00 Elev. 856.89, PVC

At Sta. 9+70.00 Elev. 895.19

At Sta. 10+50.00 Elev. 898.64

 

Except that the grade planes meeting at Sta. 9+70.00 shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents of 80.00 feet in length.

 

This resolution is recommended for approval by the Director of Public Works.
