ORDINANCE NO. 120399

 

 

Estimating revenue and appropriating $100,000.00 in the General Fund for the stabilization of a building located at 101 W. 11th Street, Kansas City, Missouri.

WHEREAS, this property has been deemed an emergency dangerous building requiring immediate stabilization and repairs for public safety; and

WHEREAS, once these repairs for stabilization are complete the owner will be assessed for any and all costs associated with this stabilization and repair; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account in the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following additional amount:

13-1000-570000-465340 Reimbursement for Demolition Costs $100,000.00

Section 2. That $100,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account:

 

13- 1000-572345-611080 Large Dangerous Building Demolition $100,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
