RESOLUTION NO. 960302

Declaring it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grade on 23rd Street Trafficway from a point 1,595.6 feet west of Manchester Avenue to a point 103.1 feet east of Manchester Avenue, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Council finds and declares it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grade on 23rd Street Trafficway from a point 1,595.6 feet west of Manchester Avenue (also being 411.3 feet west of the range line between Range 32 and Range 33) to a point 103.1 feet east of Manchester Avenue (also being 1,287.4 feet east of said range line), in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City, and as shown on the plans on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said street, on the centerline of the roadway, which shall be connected by straight grades (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations of which are herein given in feet above the City directrix as follows; to wit:

At a point 411.3 feet west of Western Missouri range line 32/33 52.11

At a point 211.65 feet west of Western Missouri range line 32/33 46.12

At a point 255.87 feet east of Western Missouri range line 32/33 44.25

Except that the grades planes meeting at a point 211.65 feet west of the Western Missouri Range line 32/33 shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 172.24 feet in length.

At a point 633.17 feet east of Western Missouri range line 32/33 59.34

Except that the grades planes meeting at a point 255.87 feet east of the Western Missouri range line 32/33 shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 164.04 feet in length.

At a point 944.85 feet east of Western Missouri range line 32/33 64.95

Except that the grades planes meeting at a point 633.17 feet east of the Western Missouri range line 32/33 shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 114.83 feet in length.

At a point 1,287.43 feet east of Western Missouri range line 32/33 58.56

Except that the grades planes meeting at a point 944.85 feet east of the Western Missouri range line 32/33 shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 196.85 feet in length.

This resolution is recommended for approval by the Director of Public Works.
