ORDINANCE NO. 051198
Accepting various Missouri warranty deeds and temporary easements, conveying to the City of Kansas City,
Missouri, certain properties in Clay County, Missouri, all for public use for
the N. Brighton Avenue Road Improvements
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
various deeds in Clay County, executed by the following persons, appear of
record at the respective books and pages as follows:
1.
Stephen E. Lembke & Rita C. Lembke; Book 4988 Page 62, legally
described as: The West 30.00 feet of the North 100.00 feet of Lot 10,
Strawberry Hill Subdivision containing 3,000.0 square feet, more or less, all
in the City of Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri. Subject to rights-of-way,
easements and restrictions of record. Also a Temporary Easement, Book 4988 Page
63, legally described as: The East 70.00 feet of the West 100.00 feet of the
North 100 feet of Lot 10, Strawberry Hill Subdivision containing 7,000.0 square
feet, more or less, all in the City of Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri.
Subject to rights-of-way, easements and restrictions of record.
2.
Carlos L. Arredondo & Simona R. Arredondo; Book 4964 Page 8, legally
described as: A part of Lot 10, Strawberry Hill, an addition in and to the
Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at a point
100 feet South of the Northwest corner of said lot; thence South along a west
line of said lot, a distance of 110 feet more or less to the North line of property
heretofore conveyed to Richard L. Miller and wife, by deed recorded January 9,
1956, as Document No. A-67605; thence Ease 250 feet to a point on the East line
of said lot; thence North along said East line 110 feet more or less, to a
point 100 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence West 250
feet to a point of beginning.

Dorothy E. Porter; Book 5066 Page 28, legally described as: The West
89.75 feet of the East 179.5 feet of the South 94 feet of the North 285.6 feet
of Lot 7, Dr. Thompsons Subdivision, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay
County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

Washington Mutual Bank, f/k/a Washington Mutual Bank, F. A.; Book 5130
Page 128, legally described as: The South 10.81 feet of Lot 25 and all of Lot
26 and the North 39.19 Feet of Lot 27, Sugar Tree Hall, a subdivision in Kansas
City, Clay County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

Elinor I. Couch; Book 5093 Page 43, legally described as: A part of Lots
10 and 11, Strawberry Hill, an Addition in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri,
according to the recorded plat thereof, beginning at a point 275 feet North of
the Southwest corner of said Lot 11 and being also the Northwest corner of
tract heretofore conveyed to Curtis Putnam and wife by deed recorded in Book
532 at Page 463; thence North 125 feet; thence East 255 feet; thence South 125
feet; thence West 255 feet to the point of beginning.

said Lot 7 a distance of 113.59 feet; thence on a curve to the left with a
Radius of 25.00 feet, an Arc Length of 35.19 feet and a Delta Angle of

Length of 35.19 feet and a Delta Angle of 8038'50"; thence on a reverse
curve to the right with a Radius of 210.00 feet, an Arc Length of 124.16 feet
and a Delta Angle of 3352'33"; thence South 8932'44" East a distance
of 15.40 feet; thence North 4255'32" East a distance of 39.70 feet;

All properties herein described,
being recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay County,
Missouri, at Liberty, are hereby accepted.
Section 2. That
upon the effective date of this ordinance the City Clerk is hereby directed to
record a copy of this ordinance in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay
County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described
property by the City for public use purposes.
