ORDINANCE NO. 060558

 

Authorizing the execution of a temporary easement with Kansas City Power and Light Company for construction and maintenance of electrical energy lines for the Temporary Shoal Creek Pump Station.

WHEREAS, a temporary easement is necessary for Kansas City Power and Light Company to construct and maintain electrical energy lines for the Temporary Shoal Creek Pump Station; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Water Services Department is hereby authorized to execute an agreement granting a temporary easement until April 26, 2013, to Kansas City Power and Light Company on City-owned property in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, for the Temporary Shoal Creek Pump Station. Property for said easement is legally described as follows:

 

A strip of land 10.00 feet in width, located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, the centerline of which is described as, Commencing at the Northwest corner of this Southwest Quarter, then South 01 00 03 West, along the West line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 13.79 feet to a point on the South line of Barry Road, as now established, then along a curve to the right, with an initial tangent bearing of South 87 35 13 East, through an angle of 00 08 43 with a radius of 11,429.16 feet following said South line of Barry Road, an arc distance of 29.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, then South 01 00 03 West a distance of 185.00 feet, to the Point of Terminus. Containing 1,850 sq ft or 0.042 acres more or less.
