ORDINANCE NO. 050537

 

Authorizing the execution of an Off-Airport Rental Car Agreement with Capps Van & Car Rental at Kansas City International Airport.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute an Off-Airport Rental Car Agreement with Capps Van & Car Rental for the right to transport its rental car customers between Kansas City International Airport and its off-airport location beginning on March 1, 2005 until the earlier of the Date of Beneficial Occupancy of the On-Airport consolidated rental car facility or February 28, 2007. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That additional revenue in the sum of $5,000.00 is hereby estimated in the following account of the KCI Airports Fund, No. 8300:

 

06-8300-620000-468630 Rental Car Concession Fees $5,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
