ORDINANCE NO. 100579
Amending Section 2-41, Code of Ordinances,
entitled “Councilmanic districts” by modifying district boundaries.
WHEREAS, the City
Charter requires redistricting prior to the 2011 municipal elections; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That Section
2-41, Code of Ordinances, entitled “Councilmanic districts” is amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 2-41. Council districts.
For the purpose
of electing members of the city council and in compliance with the provisions
of section 203 of the Charter, the city is divided into six districts, the
boundaries of which shall be as follows:
(1) First District. All that part of Kansas City, located in
____________________, Missouri, lying within the following described boundary,
to wit:

(2) Second district. All that part of Kansas City located in
____________________, Missouri, lying within the following described boundary,
to wit:
