ORDINANCE NO. 110242, AS AMENDED

 

Reducing the Contingent Appropriation in the General Fund by $1,500,000.00; increasing appropriations to transfer this amount to the Motor Fuel Tax Fund; estimating revenue in the Motor Fuel Tax Fund; appropriating $1,500,000.00 to the Snow and Ice Removal account; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is reduced by the following amount:

 

11-1000-179990-619960 Contingent Appropriation $1,500,000.00

 

Section 2. That $1,500,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account:

 

11-1000-129998-902060 Transfer to the Motor Fuel Tax Fund $1,500,000.00

 

Section 3. That revenue in the following account of the Motor Fuel Tax Fund is estimated in the following amount:

 

11-2060-120000-501000 Transfer from the General Fund $1,500,000.00

 

Section 4. That the sum of $1,500,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Motor Fuel Tax Fund to the following accounts:

 

11-2060-892010-A Snow and Ice Removal $ 900,000.00

11-2060-892010-B Snow and Ice Removal 600,000.00

TOTAL $1,500,000.00

 

Section 5. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter in that it appropriates money, and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
