RESOLUTION NO. 910394

Declaring it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grade on 51st Street from the east line of Cleveland Avenue to a point 241.00 feet east of the east line of Cleveland Avenue in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Council finds and declares it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grade on 51st Street from the east line of Cleveland Avenue to a point 241.00 feet east of the east line of Cleveland Avenue in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City, and as shown on the plans on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said street, on the top of curb which shall be connected by straight grades (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations of which are herein given below in feet above the City directrix as follows, to-wit:

At a point on the east right of way line of Cleveland Avenue 104.72

At a point 56 feet east of the east right of way line of Cleveland Avenue 104.00

At a point 146 feet east of the east right of way line of Cleveland Avenue 96.50

Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 56 feet east of the east right of way line of Cleveland Avenue shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 56 feet in length.

At a point 241 feet east of the east right of way line of Cleveland Avenue 91.26

Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 146 feet east of the east right of way line of Cleveland Avenue shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 29 feet in length.

This resolution is recommended for approval by the Director of Public Works.
