ORDINANCE NO. 050186

Authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to an agreement with Platte County, Missouri, for funding and construction of outdoor athletic fields and associated facilities in Tiffany Hills Park; estimating revenue in the amount of $245,000.00 in the Capital Improvements Fund; appropriating it to the Platte Co. THP Athletic Complex account in the Capital Improvements Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, an amendment to the Cooperative Agreement with Platte County, Missouri, for funding and construction of outdoor athletic fields and associated facilities in Tiffany Hills Park.

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account in the Capital Improvements Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

05-3090-700000-481011 Platte Co. - - Contribution to THP

Athletics Complex $245,000.00

Section 3. That the sum of $245,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account in the Capital Improvements Fund:

05-3090-707223-B Platte Co-THP Athletic Complex $245,000.00

Section 4. That the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 05-3090-707223.
