ORDINANCE NO. 180877

 

Estimating revenue in the amount of $18,000.00 in the Neighborhood Grants Fund and appropriating it to the Historic Preservation Fund Grant account of the Neighborhood Grants Fund to provide funding in support of the African American Heritage Trail.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That revenue in the following account of the Neighborhood Grants Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

19-2580-640001-475070 Historic Preservation Grant $18,000.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $18,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance for the Neighborhood Grants Fund to the following account in the Neighborhood Grants Fund:

 

19-2580-642392-B Historic Preservation Grant $18,000.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of City Planning and Development is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 19-2580-642392 and is authorized to expend the sum of $18,000.00 from fund heretofore appropriated to the account.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise encumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
