Rezoning an area of about 78
acres generally located at the southwest corner of NW 108th Street and N.
Platte Purchase Drive from District AG-R to District R-7.5 to allow for future

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new
section to be known as Section 88-20A1230, rezoning an area of approximately 78
acres generally located at the southwest corner of NW 108th Street and N.
Platte Purchase Drive from District AG-R (Agricultural/ Residential) to
District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5), said section to read as follows:
Section 88-20A1230. That an area legally described as:
All of the East
One-half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 52, Range 33, Kansas
City, Platte County, Missouri, subject to that part, if any, in streets,
roadways, highways or other public right-of-ways, except that part deeded to
the City of Kansas City, a municipal corporation, recorded as Document
2015011773 in Book 1249 at Page 438, described as follows: A tract of land in
the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 52 North, Range 33 West of the
5th Principal Meridian in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, being bounded
and described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast
Quarter; thence South 00 degrees 31 minutes 52 seconds West, along the East
line of said Southeast Quarter, 367.11 feet to the Point of Beginning of the
tract of land to be herein described; thence South 00 degrees 31 minutes 52
seconds West along said East line, 699.33 feet; thence North 89 degrees 28
minutes 08 seconds West, 40.00 feet; thence North 00 degrees 31 minutes 52
seconds East, 455.19 feet; thence Northerly, along a curve to the right, being
tangent to the last described course with a radius of 765.00 feet, a central
angle of 18 degrees 36 minutes 36 seconds and an arc distance of 248.48 feet to
the Point of Beginning and excepted a tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 28, Township 52 North, Range 33 West of the 5th Principal Meridian in
Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Beginning
at the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 00 degrees 31
minutes 52 seconds West, along the East line of said Southeast Quarter, 22.50
feet; thence South 89 degrees 21 minutes 23 seconds West, 196.35 feet; thence
North 00 degrees 38 minutes 37 seconds West, 22.50 feet to a point on the North
line of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 21 minutes 23 seconds
East, along said North line, 196.81 feet to the Point of Beginning.
is hereby rezoned from District
AG-R (Agricultural/ Residential) to District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5), all as
shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A1230, which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to
the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with
Section 88-20 thereof.
Section B. That the
Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
and Development Code have been given and had.
