ORDINANCE NO. 200318

 

Authorizing a $589,000.00 Design Professional Services Contract with George Butler Associates, Inc., for the Inflow and Infiltration (I/I) Reduction: Northern Basin Project 1.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized to execute Contract No. 1584 in the amount of $589,000.00 with George Butler Associates, Inc., for the Inflow and Infiltration (I/I) Reduction: Northern Basin Project 1, Project No. 81000719.  A copy of the contract is on file in the office of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized to expend up to $589,000.00 from Account No. 21-8110-807769-611040-81000719, Overflow Control Program, to satisfy the cost of this contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
